Hello, my name is Jackie. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in biology in 2012 and I will be starting medical school in the Fall of 2014. This blog serves as a place for self reflection and hopefully, a guidebook for others as I begin my journey through medical school and beyond.
I was born and raised in Vietnam until the age of 6. Due to my ties and past experiences, I am a strong believer in the right to healthcare and take a particular interest in global health. I hope that studying medicine will provide me with some answers on 2 topics that I can spend the rest of my life studying: the human brain and disease.
